Beverly Arnold, age 77, of Gibson City died at 12:12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 at the Mendota Lutheran Home in Mendota. Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday Oct. 25 at the Pontoppidan Lutheran Church in Elliott with The Rev. Priscilla Geerdes officiating. Burial will be in the Pontoppidan Lutheran Cemetery in Elliott. Visitation will be from 11 – 1 p.m. Thursday before the service at the church. Ms Arnold was born Feb. 3, 1941 in Elliott a daughter of Thomas and Mabel Fretty Hill. Surviving is a daughter Cathy (Grant) Conibear of Cherry, 3 sons: Scott and Chad Arnold of Gibson City and Terry Arnold of Rantoul, 3 grandchildren: Emily, Lita and Mason, and a brother Arnold Hill of Gibson City and long-time friend Ken Huskisson of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents. Bev was an administrative assistant at Electronics Components Corporation in Gibson City for over 30 years.
