Leonard N. Sarick, 95, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. He was the son of the late Nick and Ellen Patton Sarick. He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years Margaret H. Sarick. Leonard was predeceased by his sisters, Lorraine Adams and Josephine Foutts.

He retired from Planter's Peanut and was a longtime member of Oakland Christian United Church of Christ. Leonard was known for being a kind and gentle man. His final wish was to pass away in the home where he was raised, a wish fulfilled with the help of his five dedicated caregivers.

Leonard is survived by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and his brother-in-law, Bobby Hollowell (Faye) of Chesapeake. He will be dearly missed by his church family and caregivers.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Oakland Christian UCC, 5641 Godwin Blvd, Suffolk, VA 23434. Burial will follow at Newman Memorial Cemetery.
