NANCY FAYE BLAIR

Nancy Faye (McKnight) Blair, age 87, was born January 18, 1931, in Crane, Missouri, and finished her race on October 20, 2018, at her home in Hurley, Missouri. Nancy Faye, or “Granny” as she was called by her family, was a woman of faith and faithfulness who read through the Bible every year and lived by the truth she found there. She and her late husband, Rufus, lived and farmed for decades in Hurley and were members of Hurley Church of God. Nancy Faye was known for her work ethic, her quick wit, her hand-sewed gifts, her jigsaw puzzle skills, her hot rolls, and most importantly her endless dedication to her family and her God. Loved ones who went ahead of Nancy Faye were her husband, Rufus Clifford Blair; her parents, Walter Ralph and Elsie Faye (Daugherty) McKnight; and a brother, Walter McKnight Jr. and his wife Sharon. Loved ones who will miss Nancy Faye until they meet again are her siblings, Mary (McKnight) Moore and husband Ray, and Ralph McKnight and wife Ruth; her children, Regina Blair, Ronald Blair and wife Janette, Donald Blair and wife Nancy, Eric Blair and wife Kerry, Delores Dunn and husband Charles, Kenneth Blair and wife Tommie; her grandchildren, Mechelle Humin, Matthew Dunn and wife Katina, Christine (Blair) Le Brell and husband Todd, Ronald Blair Jr. and wife Erika, Elizabeth (Blair) Hightower and husband Eric, Cassandra (Dunn) Garton and husband Howard, Jake Blair and wife Jamie, Kara (Blair) Helmin, Philip Blair and wife Amanda, Drew Blair and wife Robin, Jacob Graven, Elsa (Blair) Godding and husband Timothy, Colton Pemberton, and Aubree Pemberton; her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Christopher, Caleb, Joshua, Remy, Jonas, Emma, Paige, Elise, Melody, Elijah, Jackson, Andrew, Peyton, Addison, Greyson, Alexis, and Arthur; great-great grandchildren, Jonis, Alivia and Autumn; as well as countless friends. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2018 in the Hurley Church of God, 6200 Missouri A, Crane, MO 65633. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2018, also in the church, under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, Missouri. Burial will follow the service in Wright Cemetery, Clever, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Chi Alpha Campus Ministries, (Jake and Jamie Blair) 1445 N.
