Jeffrey C. Christian was born on August 17, 1955, in Newark, New Jersey. At a young age, his family relocated to Rochester, New York, where he spent his teenage years. Jeff graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in 1973. Following high school, he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served as a Vietnam War veteran. After his military service, Jeff worked as a manager at OEM Foreign Auto Parts.

Throughout his life, Jeff was a man of many passions and talents. A music lover, he had a deep appreciation for jazz and enjoyed singing. He was also an avid photographer, having studied the craft at Monroe Community College. In addition to his creative interests, Jeff loved the outdoors, especially hunting, and had a knack for repairing cars. A devoted Buffalo Bills fan, Jeff was known for his strong family ties. He cherished his time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Spending countless hours teaching them life lessons and spoiling them with love. His legacy of guidance, support, and deep affection for his family will always be remembered.

Jeffrey C. Christian is survived by his cherished children, Lolita Mae (Marcus) Walker, Octavia LaKeisha Christian (Dr. Sidney Sr.), Constance Christian, and Shala Denise Christian (Jared). He was the proud grandfather of Eric (Celena) Sims, Jasmine Sims, Shyasia Sims, Christopher Williams, Sidney/Sol Rajab, K La Wade, Nyla Allen, and Alayia Wade and six great-grandchildren. Jeff leaves his loving sisters, Dr. Stephenia D. Burgess of Newark, New Jersey; Mrs. Laura Jean Register of South Orange, New Jersey; Mrs. Joyce Lee and Ms. JoAnne Burton, both of Newark, New Jersey; and his brother, Lamont E. Lewis. Jeff also leaves a host of family and friends. Special friends who held a significant place in his life include Bettie Travis, Greg Rogers, Bettie Rogers Bill Mahr, Bonita Kennedy Wiliams, and Bettye Jones, Cassandra Christian.
