Willis A. Barrett
PRINCEVILLE – Willis Albert Barrett, 98, of Toulon, formerly of Princeville, passed away at 9:55 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Toulon Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was born on December 20, 1919 in Jubilee Township to Walter R. and Laura J. (Worsfold) Barrett. Willis is survived by one sister, Martha Begner of Princeville and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters, Lavonnia Harlan, Thelma Begner, Leatha Taylor, Wilma Bouton, and Lorretta Millie; and two brothers, Walter and Warren Barrett. Willis was a police officer for the Princeville Police Department for many years. He last worked as a custodian for Princeville Grade School, retiring in 1984. A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Jubilee Churchyard Cemetery in rural Brimfield. Rev. Zach Waldis will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Akron-Princeville Fire Department or Akron-Princeville Ambulance Service.
