Obituary Margaret R Madden June 21st 1939 – November 23rd 2024

Margaret R Madden passed November 23rd at Avalon Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Hamilton NJ at the age of 85.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Pennington NJ, “Peg” graduated from Central High School- Pennington in 1957. Peg’s career was in billing for NJ Bell in Trenton and retiring from VERIZON in Cranford accounting. She was a long-time resident of Bordentown and Ringoes NJ. She was an avid bowler on many leagues in the Trenton area. She made State and Nationals. She also volunteered with SONJ (Special Olympics NJ). She enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

Peg was predeceased by her parents Col. James E McLaughlin and Margeret (Wist) McLaughlin of Fripp Island SC, husband- Jack P Madden of Bordentown NJ, and daughter- Gail (Kodrowski) Failla of Lambertville NJ. She is survived by her siblings- Barbara (McLaughlin) husband- Neil Van Cleef of Hillsboro NJ, James E McLaughlin II- wife Shelly (Kerr) McLaughlin of Portsmouth, NH and Dennis McLaughlin of Glendale CA. Her children Paul Kodrowski and wife Theresa Kodrowski of Lawrenceville GA, James F Kodrowski of Lambertville NJ and Matthew D Kodrowski of Ewing NJ, and son-in-law Louis Failla of Lambertville NJ. Grandchildren Joseph Failla, Michael Failla and wife Rachel (Locke) Failla, Matthew C Kodrowski and great grandchild Abigail Failla. Many Nieces and Nephews.

A Celebration of Peg’s Life will be held Sunday December 1st, 2024, 6:00 pm at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ 08505. Calling hours will be held on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Interment with be private.
