Angela Veronica Taylor, a woman of grace, compassion, and unwavering love, was born on March 25, 1960, in Miami, Florida, to the late Dalton Clyde Taylor Sr. and living Vera Jean Taylor. She departed this life on November 20, 2024, answering God’s call to take her rest in His eternal embrace.
Angela attended Miami Jackson Senior High School, graduating with the Class of 1978. She pursued higher education at Miami Dade Community College, where she earned multiple certifications in food and nutrition, a testament to her commitment to excellence and self-improvement. Angela dedicated 32 remarkable years to the Miami-Dade County Public School System as a Food and Nutrition Manager, retiring in 2022. Her work was not just a career but a mission to nurture and serve the students in her community.
Beyond her professional life, Angela had a heart for fostering and guiding young lives. For the past 14 years, she opened her home, heart, and arms to children in need, providing love and stability as a devoted foster parent. Her selflessness left an indelible impact on countless lives.
Angela had a zest for life and found joy in simple yet meaningful pleasures. She loved visiting the beach, the calming waves reflecting her serene and nurturing spirit. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, watching horror films, and cooking meals that brought her family together. Her greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her beloved grandchildren and Godchildren, who were the light of her life.
Angela is survived by her cherished children: KyJuan Taylor (Mary Taylor), Keyonne Taylor (Myisha Taylor), Kenya Taylor, and Winny Pierre. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her adored grandchildren: Alphonso Harrington, KyJuan Taylor Jr., Keoni Taylor, Keyana Hodge, Kylee Taylor, Key’Myiah Taylor, Keyonne Taylor Jr., and KeyShawn Taylor.
She also leaves to treasure her memory her siblings: Yolanda Mathis, Nadine Taylor, Dalton Clyde Taylor Jr., and Darron Taylor; her beloved Godchildren: Exzavia Everett, Rickie Barbary, Kaiden Tyson, and Destiney Robinson; and her favorite niece and nephew, Darrenisha Sims and Antwan Scott, her best friends, Bertha Wilson and Lorraine James, and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Angela reunites in glory with her siblings Roddy Page and Cynthia Taylor, finding eternal peace in their loving company.
Angela Veronica Taylor will be remembered for her boundless love, her nurturing soul, and the countless lives she touched. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
