Kelee Lou Fritz, 28, of Freeport and formerly of Beardstown, died Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore. She was born June 3, 1987 in Jacksonville, the daughter of Freddie and Rae Ann Blumenshine Fritz. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Rae Ann (Mark) Donahue of Freeport; father and step-mother, Freddie (Stephanie) Fritz of Shawnee, OK; her children, Landon Zeigler, Natalee Strong and Imari Strong, all of Freeport; three brothers, Tommy (Brooke) Fritz of Freeport, Gus Fritz of Shawnee, OK, and Nate (Jessie) Donahue of Rock Falls; two sisters, Tiffini (Damien Thomas) Fritz of Freeport and Faith Fritz of Shawnee, OK; paternal grandparents, Fred (Judy) Fritz of Rushville; companion, Khiry Johnson; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Donna (Yank) Bechard and Vernon Blumenshine; paternal step-grandmother, Rita Siedschlag; and several aunts and uncles. Kelee was a 2007 graduate of Freeport High School and attended Highland Community College. She was employed at Peak Home Medical Center in Freeport as a patient care assistant. She grew up attending the Beardstown Nazarene Church and also attended the Rushville Church of the Nazarene when she came home to visit. She enjoyed baking and social media. Kelee loved sharing time with friends, but most importantly spending time with her children and family. “Ohana” – Family and no one gets left behind. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Beardstown Church of the Nazarene with burial at St. Alexius Cemetery in Beardstown. Family will meet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Beardstown Church of the Nazarene. Memorials are suggested to the family for a fund to be established for Kelee’s children.
