Revalyn J. Mesteth was born on January 27, 1954 in Pine Ridge, SD to Royal and Roselyn (Randall) Yankton. Revalyn made her journey to the Spirit World on November 18, 2024 at the Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home in White Clay, NE.


Revalyn is survived by her daughter, Brandi Apple of Pine Ridge, SD; son, Sheldon Mesteth of Pine Ridge, SD; sister, Kathy Dillon of Pine Ridge, SD; grandchildren, Tianna, Steven, Brittany, Tariah, Gia, & Shy; great grandson, Elijah; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives.


Revalyn was preceded in death by her spouse, George Mesteth; parents, Royal and Roselyn (Randall) Yankton; sister, Carol Yankton; brothers, Delane, Larry, & Ricky Yankton; paternal grandparents, James Yankton & Minnie (Cloud Horse) Yankton; maternal grandparents, Joseph Randall & Sarah LaDeaux; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.


Pallbearers will be Thomas Red Hawk, Jr., Brian Sherman, Jr., Jerrian Ribitsch, Devon Janis, Jordan Armijo, and Patrick Jesperson.


Honorary Pallbearers will be all Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home Employees and Residents, and All Friends & Relatives.


Visitation Services: Starting at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the Sioux Funeral Home in Pine Ridge, SD.

Graveside Services: 11:30 AM, Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD
