Selina E. Smith, "Shelley", 86, of Crane Hollow Road passed away Monday November 18, 2024 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles Smith. Shelley, as she preferred to be called, was born October 4, 1938 in New Jersey, daughter to the late Phillip and Amelia (Sprague) Lund.

She was a graduate of Yale New Haven School of Nursing, where she received her RN degree. She retired after a lengthy career at Waterbury Hospital, specifically in the Behavioral Health Center. Shelley enjoyed attending auctions, flea markets and estate sales. She was a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs, The Jenny Lind Doll Club, the Golden Glow Collectors Club, and was a charter member of the Treasures for Little Children. 

Shelley's favorite holiday was Christmas; she always had her decorations and trees up and enjoyed the season all year round.

Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Hollie Bushey, and her brother Phil Lund.

She is survived by her sister Pamela Lund and her husband, Paul Fleming, nephew, Michael Chaponis his wife Heather, son-in-law Gary Bushey.

Friends and family may gather at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School Street on Monday November 25 from 10 am to 11:30 am. A celebration of life service will begin at 11:30am, followed by a burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
