On November 19, 2024 Daisy “Jo” Alverta Grove passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late John Raymond Grove, Sr. and devoted mother of John Raymond Grove, Jr. and his wife Billie Porter, and Howard Jeffrey Grove and his wife Karen Lynette Grove. Loving grandmother of Krista Willwert and her husband Pete, Sammie Jo Trcka and her husband Tom, Beau Grove and his wife Ashley, Abbie Stiffler and her husband Billy, and Allen Messenger and his wife Jackie and the late Neal Grove. Great-grandmother of Jason, Daisy, Annalynne, John, Chloe, Madelyn, Joelle, and Laurel. Daughter of the late Howard and Daisy Chenoweth. Also survived by her Godsons Rick Chenoweth and his wife Bev, and Lee Niemeyer and his wife Bonnie and her aunt Vivian Chenoweth.

Daisy was the UMYF leader of her Church and on the scholarship selection committee for Franklin High School and was President of her class. She enjoyed playing bridge, loved flowers and gardening, her pets, skiing, camping, bowling and tennis. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road Reisterstown, MD 21136 on Monday November 25th from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Family encourages everyone to dress like Daisy by wearing colorful clothing. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday November 26th at 11:00 A.M.. Interment in Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
