Dorene Dobrowski Putz, 93, of West Monroe died Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the home of daughter Cynthia, surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness. Born December 28, 1930 to the late Chester and Caroline Dupan Dobrowski. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry S. "Hank" Putz, Sr. who died in 2022. 

Dorene was a proud and loving mother to her five children. Mrs. Putz was a Class of 1955 graduate of Syracuse University where she was a member of Theta Phi Alpha Sorority. She worked as a Technical Illustrator for General Electric for numerous years, raised her family and went back to GE retiring in 1992. In addition to her children and grandchildren, Dorene and Hank enjoyed their home and entertaining on Oneida Lake.  

Surviving are daughters, Cynthia (Jim) Tornabene, Caroline Albrigo and Christine (Jim) Bona all of Camillus; sons, Henry, Jr. of Westvale and Michael (Heather) Putz of Birmingham, MI; nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Monday, November 25, 2024 at St. Charles of Borromeo Church, 417 South Orchard Road, Syracuse, New York. Burial will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt, New York. There will be no calling hours.
