Lucille Bianchi (Lucille Melillo lovingly known as Dolly) originally from Harlem passed away peacefully in her home in the Bronx on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Loving wife of the late Giuseppe Bianchi for 30 years. Beloved sister of Fred and John Melillo and the late Louie, Anthony, Dominick, Danny, Frank and Carmella Melillo. Beloved mother of Eleanor Natale and Anthony and Peter Bianchi. Beloved very special aunt and mother figure to John, Dawn, Tiffany and Daniel Melillo. Loving grandmother to 9 and great grandmother of 8, also a loving aunt to countless nieces and nephews as well as sons and daughters in laws.
Dolly worked for 45 years as a seamstress and floor lady at two very large gown makers, where she was responsible for over 40 people. Dolly was the perpetual caregiver and peacemaker, caring for her 8 siblings, Mama and Papa, Little Johnny, and eventually her late husband Joe. Though only 4’8”, Dolly could do it all and she did everything with love. From her wonderful Sunday gravy and elite eggplant parmigiana to ensuring that everyone else around her was taken care of, Dolly truly loved her family.
