It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane Hittinger (nee Cleveland), beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away peacefully on 11/19/2024. Jane was a woman of boundless kindness, unyielding strength, and a deep love for her family and community. Her generosity and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her.
Jane was born in Beech Grove, IN on 9/11/1950 . Jane’s life was a testament to the power of love, grace, and resilience.
She leaves behind her sister (Karen),2 sons (Ryan and Scot (Amy)), 6 grandchildren (Alex, Austin, Riley, Allyssa, Nathan, Mathew) each of whom cherished her deeply. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Jane’s life will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Heartland Christian Church , 1790 Ohio 28, Goshen, OH 45122. All are welcome to join in remembering Jane and sharing stories of her remarkable life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to American Cancer Society in Jane’s memory.
May her soul rest in peace, and may her legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire all who knew her.
