Mrs. Virginia Dare Loflin Younts, 87, a resident of Trinity, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Thomasville Medical Center. She was born on October 31, 1937 in Randolph County to her parents, the late Neta Surratt Loflin and Carl Little Loflin. Virginia was a member of Tabernacle Methodist Church in Trinity and attended Clear Springs Methodist Church in Denton. Most of her life she was a homemaker to her family and enjoyed sewing in her spare time. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother to her family and she will be dearly missed.

Surviving is her husband of 65 years, Billy Younts of the home; one son, Mark Younts of Trinity; one daughter, Donna Lamar and husband Mark of Thomasville; and one grandson, Elijah “Eli” Lamar.  

A service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the JC Green & Sons Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Scott Davis officiating. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery in Trinity.
