Cynthia Ann Thompson, 62 of Star City, finished her course on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. She was born April 27, 1962 in Pine Bluff.

Cindy spent her childhood in Pine Bluff. After graduation, she married Kimmy Socia and they made their home in Star City. After Kimmy’s death, she married her best friend, Jerry Dean Thompson also of Star City.

She was of the Baptist faith and was a shipping and receiving clerk for Triosim in Star City. Cindy loved to fish, work in the yard, watch the animals in the yard, and she loved baseball, especially watching her grandkids play.

Preceding her in death were her father, Billy Charles Yarbrough; her first husband, Kimmy Socia; and her second husband, Jerry Dean Thompson.

Together she and Kimmy shared 3 children, Todd (Brooklyn) Socia, Paige (Jason) Barnes, and Ryan (Brittany) Socia, all of Star City. Other survivors include her mother, Sue Hoyt Yarbrough McGregor of Pine Bluff; one brother, Billy Allen (Becky) Yarbrough of Woodlawn; one sister, Tina (Shannon) Pierce of Woodlawn; 16 beloved grandchildren who she adored and cherished; one step-son, Jeremy Dean (Cassie) Thompson of Star City; and one step-daughter, Sunny Jo Thompson of Star City.

Graveside services are 11:00AM Friday, November 22, 2024 at Drake Cemetery with Bro. Larry Kitchens officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
