Nellie “Tammy” Laiwon Moy Prebor, age 82, of Moravian Falls, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at her home. She was born October 25, 1942 in Washington, D.C. to Robert Mon Moy and Dorothy Gong Young Moy. Mrs. Prebor enjoyed traveling and gardening. She expressed her love for her family by cooking traditional Chinese meals a passion she inherited from her parents. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Chuck Prebor; and brother, Tommy Moy.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaina Wyatt and spouse Timothy of Moravian Falls; granddaughter, Danielle Wyatt of Moravian Falls; daughter, Sherrie Sentell of Moravian Falls; grandson, Kevin Sentell and granddaughter, Anna Sentell both of Moravian Falls; sisters, Jeannie Stevens and spouse Michael of Melbourne Beach, Florida, Bonnie Baird and spouse Bill of Sarasota, Florida, many nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Toby Mac.
