Gary D Gray Obituary

Gary D. Gray, age 77, passed away on November 19th, 2024 at Chillicothe VA Medical Home. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Judy Brooks Gray, parents Donald and Atha Gray and brother Walter Gray.

He is survived by two sons Gary Dean (Esther Elaine) Gray and Brandon Gray. Brother David (Donna) Gray and sister in-law Debbie Gray. Three grandchildren he loved very much Josie (Devon) Polley, Elijah, and Emmalee and two great-granddaughters Aria and Melody Polley plus several nephews and nieces.

He retired from State of Ohio as a Bridge Inspector. He also proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. He loved softball, golfing and coaching softball at Manchester school. He loved attending church and reading the Bible. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Graveside services will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM, at the Sandy Springs Cemetery, with Boyd Young officiating. Military Honors provided by the Adams County Honor Guard and the United States Army. Services are entrusted to the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union.
