Phyllis A. Glann

Phyllis A. Glann, aged 82, of Kawkawlin, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 18, 2024. Phyllis was known for her vivacious spirit and caring heart. Phyllis had a passion for life that was evident in her love for going to the casino, tending to her flowers, cooking delicious meals, and spending time with friends and family. In 1989, she married Russell Glann, the love of her life, and together they enjoyed 35 years of marriage filled with love and shared adventures.

She attended Bay City Central where she graduated in 1960. She built a successful career as the manager and bartender at Barneys Bar in Bay City, where she worked from 1984 until her retirement in 2006.

Phyllis was predeceased by her parents Charles and Madelyn Williams, her sister Roberta Glumm, sister-in-law Janet Mc Alpine, and brother-in-law Pete Mc Alpine. She is survived by her husband, Russell Glann; her son, Kyle Glann (Sarah Glann) of Sanford; her daughter, Gia Glann of Bay City; her beloved granddaughters, Morgan Glann and Natalie Glann. Her brother, Donald Williams (Tanya Williams) of Essexville; brother Tim Williams of Florida; her sister, Diane Cronkrite of Florida; sister-in-law Carolyn Houthoofd (Jerome Houthoofd) Unionville, brother-in-law Gary Houthfood (Michelle Houthoofd) of Unionville and many nieces and nephews. She had a special place in her heart for her niece Brenda Weirzbicki and great niece Alexis Williams.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday November 23,2024 at 11am at Rivertown Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Engler presiding. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10am till time of the service.  The family invites friends and loved ones to join in celebrating Phyllis's life.

Phyllis's warmth and kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
