Erla Lank passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 93. Born March 17, 1931, Erla was the quintessential matriarch. As a mother, grandmother and great grandmother she was supportive whenever her family needed her, offering wisdom, love, culinary and stitchery advice in abundance. Erla brought joy to those around her with warmth, kindness and a high-spirited personality that will never be forgotten. A cherished friend and tireless member of the film and television community in Toronto, she leaves behind a legacy of diligent strength and camaraderie.

Erla was predeceased by her husband Nathan Gliserman, and her mother and father Rachel and David Lank. She leaves behind her children Tom (JoAnne), Jody (John) and Bryan (Loretto), grandchildren Samuel, Olivia, Adriane, Sydney, Molly, Charlie, Claire, Harper, and Kate, and great grandchildren Leo, Nora, and Rosalie, along with all her friends and extended family who felt her warm love and generosity. Erla, you were truly one of a kind. You not only provided costumes for stage and film, but also crafted a legacy of love and creativity that is already echoing through generations.
