Nora Villa, 84, a resident of Yonkers, died on November 19, 2024 at her daughter's home in Beekman.
Born in Baranvilla, Colombia on May 20, 1940, she was the daughter of Manuel Villa and Ana Carmela Rojano. She had been employed by Precision Valves in Yonkers.
Nora was an active member of the Yonkers Senior Center on Riverdale Avenue. She enjoyed all of the friends that she made there, and often shared her amazing cooking skills with them.
Nora is survived by her daughter, Gloria Lopez-Novak and her husband Michael; her grandchildren, Alexis, Juan III, Amanda and Ellisa; her great-grandchildren, Ariana, Mateo, Lionel, Jaylen, Kameron, Vanessa and Mezziah; her siblings, Carmen, Miguel, Edgar, Ana and Orfeliana; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Juan Lopez Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 25 at 11am at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Yonkers.
