Kenneth “Kenny” Barry, 76, of Humarock formerly of Natick and Newton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on November 19, 2024.
Beloved husband of 53 years to Maureen (Janes). He will be sorely missed by his children Michael (Michelle), Brian (Melissa), Richard (Alli) and Marci-Anne Donnelly (Brian). Biggest fan to his grandchildren John, Madison, Gavin, Morgan, William and Matthew. Cherished brother of Paul (Edna) and Richard (Mary), and sister-in-law Gioia Barry. He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Mary (Albano) and brother John. Kenny was a loving gift to his nieces and nephews.
Kenny was born and raised in Newton. After graduating from Newton High in 1966, he met the love of his life, Maureen. He joined the US Army and when he returned from Vietnam, they married and moved to Natick where they raised their family. He became a true townie and enjoyed attending every Natick sporting event even after his children were grown. For many years, Kenny proudly coached Natick Pop Warner, Natick Little League and Recreation basketball. His favorite pastime was being a devoted grandfather. He spent endless hours and traveled many miles to cheer on each of his grandchildren.
His love, kindness and made-up words will be forever remembered. He leaves behind a wonderful legacy and a huge loss for all those that were fortunate enough to have known and loved him.
