James R. Greene was born on November 10, 1961 in Columbia, South Carolina. He passed away on November 19, 2024 at the age of 63.
Throughout his life, James lived in several states and enjoyed traveling whenever he could. One of his greatest joys in life was being Grandpa to his grandchildren. James also enjoyed cooking, going out to eat, AARP, connecting with friends and family on Facebook, and watching Westerns and other classic movies. He will be remembered for being an excellent butcher and for knowing how to prepare a great steak.
James is survived by his wife, Marla M. Greene; three children, Ralph, Luke, and Beth; daughter-in-law, LaShay; several grandchildren; three brothers, Rusty Greene, James M. Greene, and Gene Greene; one sister, Wanda Wade; sisters-in-law, Maria, Valerie, and Tiffany; nephews and nieces, Cady, Cody, Jessica, Ashley, James, Daniel, Vanessa, Justin, Johnny, Michael, Robbie, Jason, Lamar, and Jody.
James is sorely missed, but he loved God and we'll meet him in the future in the heavenlies.
