Suzie Joubert Obituary

LAFAYETTE ~ Suzie Joubert, age 78, of Lafayette, passed away on November 18, 2024. A beloved mother to four sons and one daughter, and proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren, she was known for her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness.


Suzie had a passion for cooking, crocheting, and playing bouree. She enjoyed preparing large holiday meals that brought her family together. She had a natural beauty that radiated both inside and out, with a soft and nurturing nature that made everyone feel welcome and cherished.

Suzie was a dear friend to many, and her kindness touched the lives of everyone she met. Suzie was preceded in death by her beloved sister and best friend, Barbara; her mother, Geneva; her sister, Mary; her brother, Tom; and her son, Greg.


She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, brother, and friends, leaving behind a legacy of love, grace, and kindness. 


A private family service will be held in her honor. Her body will be laid to rest with her sisters and mother in Oklahoma.
