Doris "Jeanie" Chadwell, 67, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at her home. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, G.C. Chadwell. Jeanie was born on January 9, 1957 in Lancaster, KY to the late Gene and Phillis Canter Allen.

She was a housekeeper for Landmark of Lancaster for over 14 years. Jeanie was a member of Forks of Dix River Baptist Church.

Surviving is a brother, Johnnie Allen of Lancaster; a sister, Diane Allen Dykes of Lancaster; two nephews, Phillip Allen and Devin Dykes both of Lancaster.

Along with her husband, and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Allen.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating.

Visitation will be 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home. 

Burial will follow the service in Lancaster Cemetery.
