James “Clayton” Roland, 37, a resident of Dothan, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at the home of his mother.

Celebration of Life Services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 22, 2024 in the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. William Irwin officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM prior to services. Glover Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Flowers will be accepted.

Clayton was born on January 5, 1987 in Dothan to James Anthony Roland and Betty Jean Moore. He graduated from Ashford High School in 2006. Clayton was self-employed with his own Lawn Care service. He loved Alabama Football, WWE Wrestling, fishing, and the outdoors. He was of the Baptist faith.

Clayton is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bob Roland; and maternal grandparents, Tommy Moore and Emma Jean Moore.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Betty and Allen Thompson of Ashford; father and step-mother, James and Cheryl Roland of Dothan; one son, Christopher James Roland of Dothan; two step-brothers, Randy Fulford and Christopher Fulford, both of Dothan; two step-sisters, Diana Dorn of Tennessee and Crystal Fulford of Dothan; paternal grandmother, Annie Holland of Abbeville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
