Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Monday, November 18, 2024 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 47. Steven Heayn of Port Perry, beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Stephenson). Loving father of Chris Heayn and his wife Shylo of Oshawa, and Alesha Heayn and Brayden Hewie of Peterborough. Loved poppy of Emberlyn and Jessie. Loved son of Nancy Hickox and Timmy Heayn and his wife Carol. Dear brother of Chris Heayn, Mandy and her husband Doug Thompson, Derek Heayn, and Dana Heayn. Grandson of Clare and Marie Perigoe and the late Doug and Betty Heayn. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews and his many friends. Private Services were held at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171). A gathering to celebrate Steven’s life will be held on Saturday, January 11th from 12 – 4 p.m. at the Prince Albert Hall.
