Michael D. Scull, 59, husband of 40 years to Joyce Sparks Scull, died Tuesday, November 19, 2024 in Mercer County. Born February 3, 1965, he was the son of the late Orville and Irene Hatfield Scull. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church and was an employee of Ferris Farms, formerly known as Anderson Circle Farms. He enjoyed farming, UK Sports, hunting and fishing.
Additional survivors including his wife are one son: Michael Everett Scull of Morehead; two grandsons: Michael Dylan Sagracy and Christen Tyler Sagracy; one niece: Carla (Kenny) Sallee; one great-niece Kelsey (Braeden) Baker and one great nephew: Kendall Rogers. He was preceded in death by one daughter: Amanda Watts; one sister: Pamela McCoy and one brother: Doug Scull.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Derek Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Kirkwood Cemetery with Keith Driscoll, Kendall Rogers, Anthony Lathrem, Jason Wilson, Larry Lyons, and Rick Carey serving as pallbearers and Lonnie Sanford, Scott Ferris, Dakota Goodlett and Greg Robey serving as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
