Alberto Bambach, 93, passed away on November 18, 2024. Albert resided in the community of Sun Towers. He was a cradle Catholic and was devoted to helping people. Albert was part of many church ministries at Our Lady of Mercy in Winston-Salem, NC and a devoted parishioner at Prince of Peace after relocating four years ago to Florida. He was born in Santiago, Chile, on February 2, 1931. He grew up in Chile and graduated with a degree in civil engineering from the Universidad de Chile in Santiago. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Carmen, and is survived by his four children Carmen, Alberto, Guillermo, Marie and eight grandchildren. He brought his young family to the United States in March 1974, to live in Greenwich, Connecticut. He and his wife Carmen were long-time residents in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and he had worked most recently at Sarah Lee before retiring. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:30 P.M. Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Prince of Peace.
