Jane Elizabeth Parkins, 67, of New Market, Alabama passed away November 18, 2024, in her home with her husband and daughter by her side.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Randall Parkins; daughter, Roxanne Walton Carter (Sven); step-children, Abigail Cutrell (Andrew) and Benjamin Parkins (Becky); grandchildren, Levi, Lucas and Silas. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Frances Staton and Wilda Davis; nieces and nephew; first husband, Timothy Walton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Mabel Davis, and her brother, Robert Lee Davis.

Jane was born in Charlottesville, Virginia and worked for the University of Virginia for more than 20 years. She later met Randall in Savannah, Georgia and they relocated to the Huntsville, Alabama area where they have lived for more than 20 years. In retirement, Jane found a life of love and adventure. She and Randall enjoyed traveling cross country in their RV and vacationing in the Caribbean.

Jane was a devout mother and grandmother. She made many friends and touched many hearts while on this earth. She will forever be missed!
