Jeanette passed away peacefully at her home on November 19, 2024.


Jeanette was born July 28, 1936 to Frank (Red) and Eula Winnett in Colbert, Oklahoma.


She married Larry Badgett on October 4, 1957 and the two enjoyed 46 years together. She was employed at Perrin Air Force Base until it closed in 1976, then by the Internal Revenue Service in Sherman thereafter. In the later years Jeanette and Larry were employed by Lattimore Materials Co at their Choctaw Game Preserve, Larry as manager and she as a cook.


She enjoyed cooking and sewing as hobbies and was an avid 42 player.


She was preceded in death by her husband Larry, daughter Jill and son Scott, her parents and brother David.


She is survived by daughter Mitzi and husband Mark Massie, Four Granddaughters, Christa and husband Dustin Hilliard, Chelsey and husband Casey Scoggins, Morgan and husband Taylor Penn and Hannah and husband Caleb Taylor. One grandson, Aaron Massie and wife Chaya, and brother Larry Winnett. Plus 12 great grandchildren.


She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Denison for 41 years, then went off to Cherry Mound Baptist Church for 5 years and in the later years was a member of First Baptist Church in Sherman.
