Joseph G. Holcomb

Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Campus. Age 74 years. The son of the late Forrest and Margaret (Brownridge) Holcomb, Joe was born on May 31, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Marsha Huber on February 21, 2007. She survives him. Joe earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Lake Superior State University. He was a Sales Engineer for Uson Corporation retiring in 2012. From a young age, Joe loved being on the water and being on his motorcycle. He shared that passion with Marsha and they enjoyed boating and waterskiing. They also enjoyed downhill and cross country skiing. Joe was known as “Mr. Fix-it” and there wasn’t a project he couldn’t or wouldn’t tackle.
Surviving besides his wife Marsha are three daughters, Julie (Michael) Nokes, Saginaw; Michelle (Jason) Raglin, Traverse City; Heather (Joel) David, Fenton; four grandchildren, Katelynn, Jason, Madelyn and Lincoln; two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Brooks; his sister-in-law, Carla (Bob Witt) Gauthier. Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra O’Shay.
Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Julie Bailey will officiate with interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
