James N. Burnham, 71, of Findlay, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born, in Findlay, on November 13, 1953, to the late Dale S. and L. Janice (Herrington) Burnham. James married Teresa J. Blem on January 11, 1980 and she survives.
Also surviving James are 4 daughters; Amber (Dave) Raudebaugh, Tracy Sands, Shelly (Daniel) Hickey and Megan (Josh) Tracy, 7 grandchildren; Shelby, Gage, Zach, Bryce, Madison, Cadence and Mason. Besides his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a brother, Ray S. Burnham and a sister, Rebecca (Richard) Thorton of Miller City, Ohio.
Jim was a graduate of Findlay High School. Following graduation, he began working for the City of Findlay and was the Superintendent of the Water Department for 32 years. Additionally, Jim was a part-time driver for Garner Trucking.
He was a lifetime member of Findlay American Legion Post #3 and Findlay Moose #698. Jim always enjoyed watching trains and Nascar.
As per Jim's wishes there will be no public visitation. A private graveside service will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery for family members and close friends.
