Ms. Clara M. Hargrove, age 81 of Lavonia, Georgia entered her eternal rest Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, Georgia.

Clara was born on December 11, 1942, in Carnesville Ga to the late Detroy and Grace Reese. Clara learned the importance of hard work at an early age, by doing domestic chores with her homemaker mother. Clara later turned those lessons into a career as a Cook specializing in Southern cuisine. She retired from Echo restaurant after over 30 years of service.

Clara was proceeded in death by her loving parents, five brothers, and two sisters. And also, by her dearly beloved only son Guy Hargrove.

She leaves to cherish her memories one sister, one very special adopted daughter Tammy Reese, and one devoted daughter Annie Reese. She also leaves five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, other family members, & cherished friends.

Clara was a true class act. Her love was limitless and unconditional. She leaves a legacy of hard-work and positive determination. She truly believed in giving and her generosity was unsurpassed. She will surely be missed by many.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 1:30 - 2:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel. 

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 2:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel.
