Robert E. Spellan Obituary
Norfolk: Robert E. Spellan, 79, of Hough Road, passed away on November 19, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family while under the care of Hospice.
Robert was born September 11, 1945 in Norfolk, the son of the late Jesse and Ruby Spellan. He graduated from Massena High School and later was enlisted in the United States Army.
Robert married Diana Smith on October 17, 1970 at the Methodist Chapel in Massena. He worked at General Motors in Massena as a millwright welder retiring after 36 years. He enjoyed being outdoors, watching stock car racing and spending time with his family.
Robert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Diana; his two children, Jessica Faulkner of Massena and Derek (Sally) Spellan of Parish, Florida; five grandchildren, Mason, Kiera, Kaylee, Kodey and Kassidy and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his two brothers, George and Glendon Spellan and a sister, Suzanne Bestor.
