John Novak, 93, of Mount Prospect. John was born in Chicago, IL on October 6, 1931, and passed away on November 18, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Jeanne Novak, nee Downey ; loving father of Robert (Angela) Novak, Jack (Susan) Novak, and Scott (Mary) Novak; cherished grandfather of Jonathan (Sulema) Novak, Katherine (Anton) Steyer, Jennifer (Ryan) Justice, Gregory (Jeannie) Novak, and Robert Novak; dear great-grandfather of Benjamin, Julia, Zachary, Gabriela, Jaxon, Charlie, Johnny, and London; fond uncle of many; preceded in death by his parents Louis and Agnes Novak and siblings George, Blanche, Millie, Helen, Louis, Libby and Babe.

John proudly served this country in the U.S. Army. John was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter, and bowler. He spent his career as a tool and die maker.

Visitation Friday, November 22nd, 10:00 am until Funeral Mass 11:00 am at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Road (RT 83) at Lincoln Street, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. Interment Bohemian National Cemetery.
