Murry Arthur Perry Obituary

Murry Arthur Perry was born in Beaumont, Texas on May 22, 1944 to Lerlie Zadie Perry and Floyd Simpson Perry. After a life filled with love, good conversations, hard work and pride, he passed away on November 11, 2024.

Murry was the fifth of seven children Bobby, Billy, Mary, Patricia, Caroline and Clyde.

After his service in the Army, he joined his brothers as a dairy farmer.

Murry lived by 3 constants; “if you want something, build it,” “the word “can’t” is not a word in my vocabulary” and “if something is broken fix it.”

He built a wonderful life with his wife Silvia, where together, they held hands through all endeavors for 38 years. Every project was a joint venture for Murry and Silvia. Having children, Markus, Jessica and Michael was Mama and Papa’s greatest achievement. The drive they created in their children, by teaching them there was nothing they can’t do, laid the groundwork for a life of pride and delight.

From beautiful crisp mornings filled with the smell of bacon and sounds from the goats and cows to evenings with fire red sunsets and conversations, Murry and Silvia lived each day to the fullest. They enjoyed numerous road trips around the country and to Switzerland where they fixed their eyes on the most beautiful sights imaginable.

Murry was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Lerlie and his brothers Bobby and Billy, Murry is survived by his wife, Silvia, and his children: Markus, Jessica and her husband Eric, Michael and his wife Danielle and his grandchildren: Solei, Dean, Enzo and Bodhi.
