Bonnie Kaufman Chrastil Memorial Services for Bonnie Kaufman Chrastil will be on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 2:00PM, At Chamberlain Chapel in Crawford, Nebraska. Throughout her journey in life, she wore many hats. In Minatare, she was a school board President, opened the fallout shelter for folks saved from the two tornados. She moved to Chadron, Nebraska and worked at the hospital in the supply department. When her “dream home” became available, she moved to Crawford, Nebraska. After retiring, she found her “dream job” at the Fort Robinson information booth. She was and really felt like she was back to her roots. She is survived by her children, Tammie (Tommy) Goddard, Todd (Melody) Kaufman and Trace (Mandy) Kaufman. Brothers, Jim (Harriet) Trowbridge, Marv (Jeann) Trowbridge, and her cousin Sue Duncan, who was her traveling companion on many exciting trips. Also, Bonnie’s eight grandchildren and six great grandkids, many more cousins and lots of nieces and nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and brother Russel Lee.
