Quition Allen Veatch, 55, of Elkhart, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 in the comfort of his own home.

Quition was born on August 14, 1969 in Elkhart, IN to Roger Veatch and Rubie Swarm. 

Quition is preceded in death by his father, Roger Veatch and the mother of his son, Lisa Hall. A sister, Penny Lou and a brother Roger Veatch, Jr.

Quition is survived by his daughter, Emily Veatch (Cameron) of Reedsberg, WI; son, Dakota Veatch of Elkhart; mother, Rubie Swarm of Goshen; grandchildren, Sophera, Jaxson and Owen; sister, Angelia (Joseph) Schmidt-Slabach and brothers, Wesley (Renee) Martin, Charles (Carly) Moore and Justin (Kimberley) Moore. 

Quition honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He was stationed at Fort Drum, New York as 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry). 

Quition loved his kids and grandkids, fiercely. He loved spending his time with them and especially loved to cook for his family. 

In his spare time, Quintion enjoyed being outside, hunting and fishing. He was an avid football fan of the Dallas Cowboys and The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.

Quition’s personality was one of a kind, once in a life time kind of man.

A Private Celebration of Life with Military Honor’s will be held at the VFW in Elkhart, IN 46514 on Saturday November 9th, 2024 at 2 PM.
