Deborah Ann Scannell, age 53, of Plymouth died suddenly on November 5, 2016 in Plymouth. Born on March 9th, 1963, she was the loving daughter of Marie Ann (Durkin) Scannell and the late Joseph F. Scannell. She was educated in Plymouth, a graduate of Plymouth -Carver High School, Class of 1981. For twenty-seven years Deborah had worked for Verizon retiring in 2010 as a central office technician. She had moved to Plymouth from Boston in 1978. Deborah enjoyed listening to music, especially country music, and was an avid reader. She loved going to the beach in her free time. Her greatest accomplishment in life was the key to her heart and light of her life, her daughter Sarah Marie Gill. She will be forever remembered by the host of people whose hearts she touched. Besides leaving her mother Marie Ann (Durkin) Scannell and daughter Sarah Marie Gill both of Plymouth, she was the beloved sister of Robert Joseph Scannell and his wife Bonnie, Keri Scannell and Donna Owens and her husband Mark all of Plymouth. She was also survived by 4 nieces and nephews. Donations in her memory may be made to the Plymouth Outreach Program c/o the Sunrise Rotary Club of Plymouth.
