Robin R. Herbert Obituary

Robin R. Herbert was born in Oklahoma City on August 24, 1953, to her parents GF and Maxine Reaves. She spent her childhood on the south side of Oklahoma City, graduating from Southeast High School before earning her associate's degree

from Rose State College. Robin began her professional career at Kerr McGee and later joined her father’s firm, Price and Reaves Architects where she dedicated over two decades as an office manager. In the early 2000s, Robin moved to Midwest

City, and she served as an office manager at the National Bureau of Collections, retiring in 2020.

Robin met the love of her life, Dave Herbert, at the age of 16, though they did not begin dating until the early 2000’s. They married happily in 2013, beginning a life together filled with joy and adventure. Together they explored the beauty of Europe

and the Caribbean, making cherished memories alongside dear friends. St. Lucia, St. Petersburg, Paris, and Tuscany held special places in her heart.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Robin’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She was endlessly supportive of her only daughter, Cassie, encouraging her every pursuit, from academics to sports. Robin was known for her spirited enthusiasm as

she coached softball and basketball, always the loudest cheerleader on the sidelines. In her later years, she found immense joy in reading with her youngest grandson, William, and listening to his spirited tales.

Robin left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Dave Herbert of Midwest City; her beloved daughter Cassie Haffner and husband Brady of Bartlesville; her sister Claudia Eller of Yukon; her stepdaughters Denae Herbert of Midwest City and Tiffany Ruhman and husband Kenny of Oklahoma City; her stepson Jeremy Walker of Newcastle; her three cherished grandchildren Slater and Indy Ruhman of Midwest City and William

Haffner of Bartlesville. She was preceded in death by her parents GF and Maxine Reaves, and her brother, Alan Mack Reaves.
