Jeannette Marie (Forgione) Tango was the first born child to Joseph and Mary Forgione in Boston, Mass in September 3, 1941. Jeannette grew up with a passion for helping others and early on decided to seek a career in nursing. As the family eventually grew to eight children she got a lot of practice minding her twin brothers and the three more that followed. Affectionately called the matriarch after the passing of her mother she continued the tradition of keeping the extended family together. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.Her career in nursing began after graduating with honors from the Malden Hospital School of Nursing. She became a member of the Malden Hospital nursing staff, eventually specializing in assisting during surgeries, which she absolutely loved. Her growing family moved to Plymouth when she joined the surgical staff at Jordan Hospital. Her talents and dedication were recognized and she was chosen to be a team member which traveled to China and trained nurses. It was one of the highlights of her career. As a young nursing student she spent six months in Haiti working in a very challenging environment. These experiences contributed to her compassionate spirit. She was a great mother, sister, and daughter.Jeannette leaves her daughters Gioia and Nicole, and a son Tyrone, all of Plymouth, her former husband Michael Tango, her brothers Joseph, John, James, Mario, Brian and Darryl. She is predeceased by her sister Rosemary. She had many nieces and nephews who will miss "Auntie Jeannie".
