Richard Hall, loving father and spouse, passed away on November 3rd, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 16, 1951, in Middletown, Ohio to the late James and Cleta (Miller) Hall.

Before his passing, Richard devoted himself to Jesus Christ. He married Sonia (Antrobus) Hall in 1983, sharing 41 years of marriage. In his professional life, he worked as a lineman with Duke Energy for 29 years. He played an important role on the crew, ensuring that power lines were restored, and communities were supported during hurricanes. He was an incredibly hard worker and a jack of all trades. He could fix almost anything and imparted much of that knowledge to his sons. He loved handiwork and watching football, especially the Chicago Bears. Above all else, he loved his family and was a devoted father and husband. He will be dearly missed.

Richard is survived by his wife, Sonia Hall; sons, Alex (Tiffany) and Spencer Hall; a sister, Barbara (Mike) Barber; loving mother-in-law, Fay Guzzetta; nephews Mike Barber and Adam Barber; nieces PJ and Cheryl; and his dogs, Heffe and Mika. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Hall.

Memorial contributions in Richard's honor can be gifted to American Cancer Society or an animal welfare charity of choice.

A graveside service for Richard will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at noon at Butler County Memorial Park.
