Nannette M. Collar, 56, of Snow Shoe, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, after a valiant fight with health issues. Born on November 30, 1967, in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of Margaret L. (Moore) German of Pine Glen and the late Milton German. On December 14, 2018, she married Douglas A. Collar who survives at home.

Nannette was a 1985 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. She worked beside her husband in their flooring business, Doug’s Floor and More. She also cleaned homes for many people in the Mountaintop Area. She was of the Catholic Faith.

Nannette enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. She and Doug were always together, and she wanted it that way. She loved him with all her heart and soul and wanted to spend every moment with him. She had a strong belief in her savior, Jesus Christ. She had his pictures throughout her home.

Nannette is survived by her husband, Doug, mother, Margie, stepson, Alex Shuey of Bellefonte, and brother, John German of Denver, PA. Oh, we cannot forget her sidekick, Rex the dog and large circle of friends that were her support system for many years.

Along with her father, Nannette was preceded in death by her sister, Kimberly Wick.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 6-8pm followed with a Memorial Service at 8pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Snow Shoe with Pastor Catherine Dittman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Clearfield SPCA, 275 21st St, Clearfield, PA 16830.
