Bill Monroe Day, 91 of Murchison, Texas went to meet the Lord on November 1, 2024. He was the owner of Day’s Pilot Car Service and retired after the passing of his wife, Helen Wiley Day. He met Helen on August 1, 1952 and they married on August 9, 1952. They had been married 67 years prior to her death on December 7, 2019. He was a devoted family man. He worked hard to provide for his family no matter how many hours it took to do so. He was smart, stubborn and liked to do things his way. He would always draw you a picture of how he wanted to do things.
He leaves behind daughters Chicquetah Lambert, Carol Hromadka and husband Joe, Christy Day Adams; grandkids: Jason Lambert and wife Amy, Brandi Fetherlin, Shane Mitchell and wife Wendy, Joseph Butler and Jacob Butler; twelve great grandkids and three great-great grandkids and one great-great-great grandkid. Family and friends will miss him dearly.
