Kellie Lynne Prankienas

Bay City, Michigan

Kellie Lynne Prankienas, aged 56, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 31, 2024, at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. She was born on September 23, 1968, in Bay City, to Arthur & Maxine (Elliott) Field.

Kellie grew up in Kawkawlin, she graduated from Bay City Western High School in 1986, carrying with her the joy and resilience that would define her life. Kellie's greatest accomplishment and source of pride was her family, which she nurtured with unwavering love and dedication. Her husband, Martin, was her steadfast partner in life's journey, and together they created a home filled with laughter, compassion, and warmth.

The legacy of Kellie's loving heart is carried on through her five children, Amanda (Victor) Mobley, Melissa (Dane) DeGreif, Kathleen (Jacob) Prankienas, Paul (Miranda) Prankienas, and Anthony Prankienas. Kellie’s joy in life multiplied with the birth of each of her eight grandchildren, Jason, Nolan, Lincoln, Alayna, Maggie, Autumn, Carson, and the eagerly awaited future baby Prankienas. Her role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, and her influence will continue to guide them as they grow.

Kellie grew up with her brother, Jamie (Micker) Field. Her lifelong friend, Tammy, will miss their late-night conversations. Kellie was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Field, her nephew, Jacob Field, and her grandmother, Minnie Field, all of whom she held close in her heart.

Kellie's passion for life was evident in the simple pleasures she enjoyed. She loved camping with her family and friends, and a great campfire, embracing the beauty of the great outdoors. Holidays were a special time for Kellie, as she reveled in the joy of bringing people together and creating traditions that will be cherished for generations. Her spontaneous day trips to northern Michigan were adventures that brought her immense happiness and a sense of joy.
