Shirley JoAnne Fox, 80, of Scottsburg, Indiana went into the arms of her loving Savior with her family by her side on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Hampton Oaks Health Campus in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on February 11, 1944, in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Paul Pearce Fox and Helen Pauline (Meadows) Meadows. Shirley was a member of the World Outreach for Christ in Scottsburg, Indiana and a member of the Scott County Moose Family Center #2324. She was a former employee of the old Charlestown Powder Plant in Charlestown, Indiana Dept. of Transportation in Seymour, Indiana, and a manager of Act III Investments & the Jackson Heights Mobile Home Parks. Shirley, an incredibly talented, self-taught piano player, brought joy and harmony to the lives of many through her love of music and her unwavering love for her family and church. In addition to her parents Shirley was preceded in death by two brothers, Kevin Howard and Marvin Fox; one sister, Rhonda Fox; and one grandson, Dustin Richey. Survivors include three sons, Gregory Lee Richey, Michael Eugene (Betty J.) Richey, and Tony (Tammy) Deaton all of Scottsburg, Indiana; one daughter, Heidi Denise (Kerry) Turner of Austin, Indiana; two sisters, Teresa Ingram of Scottsburg, Indiana and Sonja Elliott of Crothersville, Indiana; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews who loved her deeply. Funeral Service 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Pastor Rick Romero officiating. Visitation from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, November 4, 2024, and after noon Tuesday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
