Megan Hunter Moreau, 64, of Round Rock, TX passed away on November 2, 2024. She was born on May 23, 1960, in Uvalde, TX. She is predeceased by her father C. Sumner Hunter, her mother Jeanette Hunter, and brother Stephen Hunter.
Megan was a graduate of LBJ High School (class of ‘78) where she participated in the school’s marching band. After graduation, she pursued a career in the cosmetic industry and traveled across the country. She married her husband, David Moreau, in 1993. She spent 33 years in Austin, TX before moving to Round Rock. She was a true Austinite.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, David Moreau, and daughter, Merritt Moreau (grandcat Binx), of Round Rock, TX. She is also survived by the following: Brother, Sumner Hunter and his wife Cathy (niece Kim and nephew Casey) of Lago Vista, TX; Brother, Philip Hunter and his wife Cathy of Lockhart, TX; Brother, Richard Hunter and his wife Sherrie of Pflugerville, TX; Sister in-law Nancy Hunter of Hallettsville, TX (niece Tara Hunter and nephews Heath, John Paul, and Jett Hunter); Aunt Tina Melson and her husband Marvin; eleven great nieces & nephews, and numerous cousins.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece and friend to many. She loved being surrounded by her large and boisterous family. She created many happy memories during her time traveling and accompanying her daughter to plenty of concerts over the years. The only thing she loved more was George Strait. Megan will be greatly missed.
A service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Beck Funeral Home in Pflugerville.
