CHESHIRE - Joseph A. Boucher, 78, formerly of Wallingford, departed this life on November 2, 2024 at Elim Park. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Torrens) Boucher.

Joseph was born in New Haven on October 2, 1946 to the late Maurice and Marie (Pacheco) Boucher.

Joseph graduated from Amity High School in 1964, and Quinnipiac College in 1969.  He went on to a career in sales that took him all over the country, eventually leading him to become Director of Marketing at Backus Hospital in Norwich.  

Though travel was his vocation, his passions lay closer to home.  He loved cigars, good food and wine.  He was a golfer, though he preferred to watch. He was a reluctant player of pinochle, but Joseph liked nothing better than to host family and friends over a full table in his home.  

In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by: his sons Evan (and Ann Marie) Boucher of New York, Justin (and Fiona) Boucher of Hamden; his grandchildren: Sofia, Gianna, Lia, Grant and William, as well as his sister Mary Ellen Martini of Chandler AZ.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, 6th of November, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 273 South Elm St., Wallingford. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. It is suggested that contributions in his memory be directed to the Carol T.
