Jeffery David Wiesen, 53 of Greenville went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 30, 2024.

He was born April 21, 1971, in Greenville, MI to proud parents, Dave and Debbie Wiesen. Jeff graduated from Greenville Senior High School and Montcalm Community College. He began his career at Greenville Tool and Die as an apprentice during high school, eventually earning his Journeyman Tool and Die Maker certification. He later joined his brother Matt at Wiesen EDM eventually becoming sole owner. He was a proud partner with his son Jarrod at Wiesen Powder Coat in Belding and Coatings Plus in Grand Rapids. He was known for his unwavering determination in any endeavor he undertook. He was recognized as a leader in his community and has left a lasting impact through his generosity and his devotion to his friendships.

In 2018 he took an opportunity to retire early and spend more time with his family and friends on Clifford Lake. In his retirement, Jeff appreciated every sunrise and sunny afternoon, cruising the lake, and becoming a gourmet grill chef. His real hobby and passion were his family. Inscribed in his heart by the example of his parents, he guided the next generation feeling so gifted with amazing children. While his life was short, his strong faith, dedication to family, and appreciation for every day touched so many with his kindness. Always remembered for his eagerness to be of help to others, his instinctive knowledge, and his ability to handle whatever challenging circumstances he encountered.

Jeff is survived by Michon Wiesen; his daughter, Janelle (Charles Strickland) Wiesen; son, Jarrod Wiesen. Father, Dave (Karen) Wiesen; brother, Matt (Kandice) Wiesen. As well as his three nephews, Ryan (Justina), Josh and Matthew Wiesen.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Deborah Jean Wiesen; father-in-law, Wayne Wilson; and sister-in-law, Margaret Wiesen.

While his time here was short, Jeff spent his life fiercely loving and protecting his family and in service to his community and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service for Jeff will be held on Tuesday, November 5th, at 3:00 pm at Hurst Funeral Home in Greenville. Visitation will be held between 1:00 and 3:00 pm prior to the service.
